SOMERSET PRINT MAKING is a traditional printmaking paper and one of the best in the world. Made using 100% cotton by St Cuthberts Mill, each sheet is buffered with calcium carbonate to help defend finished prints from discolouration caused by pollution acids. It is available in eight highly lightfast colours that reach a minimum of 7 on the Blue Wool Scale, including an eye-catching black.

Its surface has a gentle texture, which can withstand lot of handling. It’s also a strong and stable sheet for ensuring excellent printing. It remains flat after printing and offers durability and long life to finished editions of work. All four sides of each sheet have deckle edges perfect for limited edition prints (i.e. 560 x 760mm & 760 x 1120mm sheets – Satin, Velvet & Textured)  other sizes have 2 deckle edges (The Text Laid and Book Printing Papers).
